Hi, I’m Emily, a weirdly-organized interactive designer.
After graduating from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University with a B.F.A in Graphic and Interactive Design in 2017, I was hired as an Interactive Designer at Neff, an advertising agency in Philadelphia. At Neff I played a large role in both the creation of custom and templated websites as well as project management, client relations and new business. After starting my family in 2021, I transitioned to freelancing full time. I returned to Tyler School of Art in 2020 as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Graphic and Interactive Design department.
When I’m not working or teaching, you can find me hanging out with my family – my husband Rob, my son Oliver, and my two dogs, Shaq and Barkley – doing home improvement projects, or planning my next (real or fake) vacation or event. Next to a cold glass of white, my guilty pleasure is a well organized spreadsheet or budget. (I know, I’m weird.) I’m unapologetically optimistic and my strongest belief in life is that there is no excuse to spread anything but sunshine.
Custom UI Design
My specialty is creating custom designs from scratch – research and discovery, moodboarding, sitemapping, wireframing, & designing.
I can also take those custom designs and build them out in WordPress using a theme builder.
And I know just enough CSS and HTML that I can build a website by customizing WordPress themes.
I enjoy meeting with clients and playing project manager. I have years of experience presenting designs and proposals as well as leading web projects.
I love working with clients to learn about their vision and bring it to life through a unique web experience.
Most people like to watch TV or play a sport in their free time – my hobby is making excel sheets of budgets and plans.
Let’s chat! I’ve worked with a variety of clients in industries from real estate to architecture to medical to law. Nothing scares me!
